Spectroscopy and dynamics with coherent molecular beams
The talk will start presenting a molecular beam technique which exploits the interaction of polar molecules with static and resonant RF electric fields to produce a superposition of coherent quantum states. Subsequently, high- resolution spectroscopic and dynamic studies carried out with this novel methodology will be reported.
Attention will be paid to recent investigations on the measurement of quantum decoherence in atom-molecule collisions.
