Experiments at HIMAC (Japan)
Last June, Daniela and Marta (3rd and 2nd year PhD students of the group NanoHadron) joined the group leaded by R. Hirayama at NIRS-QST in Chiba, Japan, as part as a collaborative research.
The objective was to test different protocols using metallic nanoparticles (made in France !) in combination with carbon ion irradiation.
The hot and humid weather did not avoid the students to visit the island and enjoy the japanese culture !
